The formats hereunder detailed only work with Ajax V4 codes (of Section or Space).

HTML sets a series of new elements and qualifications reflecting the typical use of modern websites. Therefore, in e-planning we offer HTML5 Banner and Layer formats.

 

Difference between Banner and Layer:

Both alternatives are offered in HTML5 in order to give more creative possibilities. In case of a 'fixed' piece, Banner should be chosen; instead, in case of a 'floating' piece, Layer should be used.

It is important to remark that by loading these formats in e-planning, no effect settings will exist (such as coordinates, types of displacement, expansion effect, among others) as they should be directly programmed in the ad html5 code. All these options should be previously programmed. The file to be uploaded to the system should be .html/.zip and the ad server will reproduce it at the time of executing ads including animations and effects provided in the code.

 

Adding an ad:

Upon having created a campaign, and to add an ad associated to such campaign, enter 'Add Ad' where the following form will be displayed:

Some examples of the types of files to be uploaded are shown in the form:

Swiffy - .html

Adobe Edge - .zip

Google Web Designer - .zip.

 

The options come from tools highly used in the market for the configuration of HTML5 ads. This fact does not imply they are unique. Any .html or .zip may be loaded whilst correctly programmed.

The Click Tag should be programmed according to the following code: (This does not apply for SWIFFY)

For SWIFFY

An include of the file  epl_as3_html5_rm.as (attached) must be made in the first frame of the ad (include 'epl_as3_html5_rm.as';).

In order to call the metric the following function must be executed:

When the file is uploaded the ad form will show a warning in case of non-existence or if programmed otherwise as indicated.

This is very important because if you end up uploading that file the ad will not be clickable, so, clicks will not be counted either.

 

-  Take into account that in case of uploading a .zip, it should contain an index.html inside; otherwise, it will be considered invalid:

- The .zip should not contain folders inside, it should contain its files directly.

Close button: If the close button is not included in the uploaded file, you can use this attribute to add one from the system.

You can either choose an hosted image for the button or select the one provided by e-planning.

 

If all data are correctly loaded from the form, the ad will be uploaded in the system.

In order to view the ad, click on the link 'View ad in a new window':
