Any creativity generated in Ad Studio may contain 1 or several components at your choice.
There follows an explanation about each component with their different options of use:
Available components:
Every time you choose a component, a Properties window will pop up to design their features:
General properties of all components:
• Name: Enables to name the component
• Width and height: They define the size of the text box
• X / Y: They define the position of the text box
• Depth: Relative width value of the layer regarding the remaining components.
• Animations: Options to give movement to the component within the ad. More information here.
Image Component
It enables to add JPG, PNG or GIF static/animated images.
Special properties:
• File: Upload the corresponding image
Important! There is no weight limit for image files.
SWF Component
It enables to add any SWF file, which is automatically converted to HTML5 and may be reproduced in any mobile or desktop device. All the information contained in the original file is kept.
It is very useful at the time of loading cross device ads so as to use the flash material advertisers send for desktop.
Special properties:
• SWF file: upload the flash file sent by the advertiser.
Important! weight limit for SWF files is 1MB.
Video Component
It enables to upload MP4, OGG and MPEG format videos always starting in idle mode.
Important! There is no weight limit for videos.
Particular properties:
- Video Source: Upload the corresponding video file.
- The 'Autoplay' function may be activated for it to start automatically. In case this option is used, the audio will remain off by default.
- Enable a 'Countdown' icon:
- Choose actions to take place upon completion of the video:
- Close ad
- Play again (Repeat)
- Ask for replay (Replay)
- Stop it (Stop)
- (Only available for INLINE) Audio on rollover: The audio goes on or off as the user rolls over or out the banner.
YouTube Component
It enables to add any YouTube video (in these cases, the video appears without the sites' own ads)
Special properties:
- Video ID: It must be completed with the id extracted from the YouTube url. Example: zVBrb3JNIhY
...
- The 'Autoplay' function may be activated for it to start automatically. In case this option is used, the audio will remain off by default.
- Also the 'Replay' function may be activated to re-start the video once it finishes.
Button Component
This button has several options:
• ClickTag: It enables to define the page where the ad is redirected (it counts clicks).
• Go to a url: It is useful to redirect to secondary landing pages (it does not count clicks).
• Change page: It appears when at least a page is added, it enables to define to which page you must change when pressed.
• Change creativity: It appears when the ad has more than one creative and it is useful to expand or collapse a format (it counts expansion and collapse depending on where it is located).
There are 3 different options to change the creativity (this gives more flexibility when it comes to showing the ad in 'desktop'):
- Click/Touch: The creativity change is done when a click is made with the mouse or when theuser touches the click area with the finger (mobile).
- Mouse over: The creativity change is done when the mouse is over the action/component area.
- Mouse out: The creativity change is done when the mouse leaves the action/component area. Useful for collapsing a format.
•Close ad: It enables to close the ad making it disappear from the site (it counts close ad).
•Click to call: It enables to set up a telephone number to call at the time of clicking (it counts clicks).
•Download: It enables to set up the App ids to redirect the user to the correct store according to the device O.S.
It should be taken into account that the buttons must always have a depth greater than the remaining components.
And they must be placed on an image leading the user to develop the action.
Like Component
It enables to add the Facebook Like button in several different styles, when clicking on the button, if the user is already connected to Facebook, his action remains as registered without being redirected to the site.
Special properties:
• Facebook Page: Define the page in question. Example: http://www.facebook.com/eplanning
• Show pictures: In this Standard option, pictures of the ones who like the page may be added.
• Scheme: Light or Dark, to change the color of typography depending on the color of the back.
• Type: Standard / Only Button / Button and Number / Box and Number
Language of social buttons
From Ad Settings the language social buttons must work with may be selected. There are 4 options: English, Spanish, Portuguese and the user's language. This last one is set by default, and it takes the language the user may have set up in each social network. If it cannot determine the language set, then it adopts the English language.
Likebox Component
It enables to add an ad with the last posts of a Facebook page (you may scroll on the contents) or pictures from users who like the advertiser in Facebook.
Special properties:
• Facebook Page: Define the page in question. Example: http://www.facebook.com/eplanning
• Show pictures: To show pictures of users who already like the page.
• Scheme: Light or Dark, to change the color of typography depending on the color of the back.
• Show Stream: To show the last posts in the wall.
• Back: The Likebox back color may be changed.
Language of social buttons
From Ad Settings the language social buttons must work with may be selected. There are 4 options: English, Spanish, Portuguese and the user's language. This last one is set by default, and it takes the language the user may have set up in each social network. If it cannot determine the language set, then it adopts the English language.
Share Component
It enables to share the advertiser's page in the user's wall, in a friend's wall, or in a group or private Facebook message.
Special properties:
• Facebook Page: Define the page in question. Example: http://www.facebook.com/eplanning

Follow-up Component
It enables to add a button to follow the advertiser in Twitter directly from the ad.
Special properties:
• User: the user's name in Twitter. Example: eplanningnet
• Followers: It adds a chart with the number of current followers
• Show user: it adds the name of the advertiser's account

Timeline Component
It enables to add the last Twitter posts in real time within the ad.
Special properties:
• Scheme: Light / Dark changes the color of typography depending on the color of the back.
• Show: Account tweets / Hashtag / Text allows to show the last issues related to an account, a hastag or a particular text.

This last one is set by default, and it takes the language the user may have set up in each social network. If it cannot determine the language set, then it adopts the English language.
WhatsApp Component
It enables to add a button to send a message to WhatsApp contacts.
Special properties:
• Value: Complete the information the user will share with his contacts.

Text Component
It enables to add text with the following settings:
• Value: The text to be seen in the ad
• Font: It may be set up among Ariela, Verdana and Tahoma
• Format: Normal or Bold
• Style: Normal or Italic
• Decoration: Underline, Overline o Line through
• Color: It enables to set up the color of typography
Maps Component
It enables to add a Google map with the advertiser's address and location within the creativity.
Special properties:
• Location: Complete the exact address
• Zoom: To locate the map closer of farer in height.
• Type of map: Normal/ Satellite
Swipe Component
It enables to add a picture gallery which may be browsed by using the 'left', 'right' indicators or by touch screen in mobile devices.
2 to 8 JPG/ PNG or GIF static format images may be added.
Wipe Component
It enables to upload an image which must be 'deleted' by the user with the finger or mouse and gives place to another creativity image.
Dull or transparent images may be uploaded.
Special properties:
• File: Upload a static jpg, png or gif image. It may be dull or transparent in some areas.
• Times: The number of times the user may touch the screen for the component to disappear may be set up.
Form Component
It enables to add geometric forms or borders to ads.
Special properties:
• Back: The internal color of the form
• Border size: Pixel size:
• Border color: it may have a different color than the internal part
• Border style: Different options for the border style
• Rounding: To round the form's vertexes.
Twitter Card Component
It allows you to add a component to show the latest complete publication of the account indicated.
Additionally, the latest post where the account has been mentioned or hashtagged may be displayed:
