CONVERSION & RETARGETING

Conversion:

Conversions offer the possibility to measure or track certain customer actions after a click, such as registration, purchase or activity on the advertiser’s page.

A conversion is a JavaScript or pixel code that can be executed in any part of the site to measure a specific action. The pixel version can also be included in other measuring systems to carry out a simultaneous tracking in different sources.

*Remember that this functionality requires the advertiser’s implementation of measuring codes on their websites or measuring systems.

This functionality has two main uses:

This functionality is enabled from the “CONVERSION” tab.

This functionality is enabled from the “RETARGETING” tab.

Adding a Conversion

On this screen, select “Add”.

A pop-up menu appears and you will be able to fill in data to create a conversion.

You should enter the following information:

Description: of the conversion to be registered.

URL: reference URL where the conversion codes will be included.

Price: value to charge the advertiser for the conversion. It’s optional.

Next, the conversion is generated together with its associated code.

Campaign Conversion Tracking

To track conversions associated to the campaign, you should tick the checkbox corresponding to the conversion you would like to measure. You can track multiple conversions for the same campaign.

Retargeting

It is a type of targeting or functionality of the ad server based on users navigation behaviors. You can target campaigns to specific user groups, for example, those that have already converted (positive targeting) or those that have not converted yet (negative targeting).

Segment by profiles:

This option gives you the possibility of selecting from a list which user profiles will see the campaign.
