Native Ads
Native Ads are those targeted to be integrated with the content of the site in which they appear.
Integration is sought to be fulfilled both from an aesthetic and a contextual perspective.
This new type of advertising offers the possibility of reaching users in a less invasive way, to improve their navigation experience. Consequently, it offers more efficiency when obtaining results.
FORMATS
There are as many native ads as customizations and styles are present in all the sites where they are implemented. The ads will always be associated to the Publisher’s creative for a natural integration with the content.
e-planning offers the possibility of creating Native Ads by using TEMPLATES.
These offer the necessary versatility to create formats that are suitable for what is required.
An example of each type of code (JavaScript/HTML/XML) is attached, in order to use as basis in the creation of Native Ads.
You can find 2 examples about the implementation of Native Ads below:
Example 1> News site
Example 2> Result list
CONTEXT
Another important condition of this type of advertising is context. The objective is to relate the message/advertisement to the content of where it appears.
In e-planning, you can work with this by using KEYWORDS.
There are 2 manners in which you can implement this functionality:
- Take values from headlines, tags, categories, etc. and specify them in a string inside the code, so that the system validates whether there is a related campaign or not >> Contextual Kws Implementation
- “Read” the site’s content directly and, according to the terms found, verify which campaign is suitable to be displayed to the user >> Contextual Kws Implementation (with crawler)
Example of use:
A user is browsing the “Fashion” zone of a site, especially reading an article about hair care. The terms used on the page (either taken from the article or sent from the headline, tags, etc.) could activate a campaign that shows an ad about a fortifying shampoo (aesthetically adapted so that it matches the site’s style).
In this way, there will be a successful association of the advertising message with the content of the site at the contextual and aesthetic levels. This is what Native Ads seek to achieve.
