How it works
E-Planning DSP is connected to E-Planning SSP, which performs an inventory auction among different buying sources (DSPs). The SSP sends bid requests for available impressions in real time (bid requests). In each bid request, information regarding the impression and user is sent (site or app, category, position on the page, browser, operating system, user information, geolocation data, among others). E-Planning DSP analyzes this information and verifies if the impression matches the targeting criteria of the existing campaigns. If the impression matches the criteria, it will respond to the bidding source indicating the maximum amount it is willing to pay for the impression and the ad to be shown. The SSP then compares all the bid responses from all the demand sources, and will display the ad with the highest bid. In this way, it effectively connects supply and demand by auctioning in real time each of the ad opportunities individually.
