Initiate Campaigns with Average Historical eCPM Data
On the “Advertisers” page, you can indicate that the system takes the average click and conversion rate of previous campaigns to initiate a new one at the moment of creating it:
This allows campaigns to be shown faster, with no need of running the “research” impressions (Global Preferences).
At the moment, when a new campaign is detected, the system only shows it in the impression percentage destined to research. It is only when it reaches 10,000 impressions that it calculates its click and conversion rates, and then the system starts showing it on all the impressions (if it wins over other campaigns’ eCPM). With this new setting, the campaign could start to compete for all impressions from the very moment of its activation.
If this option is enabled, the system will perform the following:
- When new campaigns are created, it previously calculates their eCPM according to the average of previous campaigns.
- It takes the average of <Last 12 hours |Last 24 hours | Last 48 hours | Last 3 days | Last 7 days (DEFAULT) | Last 30 days | Last 60 days | Last 90 days> --> According to the selection made:
- It starts calculating the real eCPM of the campaign starting from: < 1,000 | 5,000 | 10,000 | 20,000 | 50,000 | 100,000 | 500,000 | 1,000,000 | 5,000,000 > impressions (maximum of: 15,000,000) --> According to the selection made:
*This is the minimum amount of impressions that can be set up even if you chose to enable this option or not.
