3rd party tags Previewer

In the “Import 3pt ad server tag” addition/edition form, the tag to be run can be previewed. This will allow us to know if it works properly (if the tag shows ads), before running it online.

Under the “HTML Code” box where the tag is to be pasted, a new button will appear: Preview. It will only be visible when the selected format is: Banner / Layer / Pop-Under / Pop-Up or Custom Template.

In order to preview a tag you need to complete the upload form.

Select the “Size” according to the tag to implement.

In case you select “Fixed size” it is mandatory to indicate the correct width and height. For “Variable size” the default size will be 800x600.

By pressing the preview button a pop up window will be triggered with the previously indicated size. Inside the tag will be executed so as to show the ad. If the ad does not appear in the window, a link will be given to open the preview in another tab (this is due to happen with tags in http protocol).

Once previewed, under the “HTML Code” box, 2 extra fields will be added:

- Tag ad server provider: When the tag is recognized by the system, the name of the provider will be indicated.

- Macros: When the checkbox for automatic insertion is enabled, such petition will be indicated.

After the tag is previewed if changes are made on the size or on the tag itself and the “add” button is pressed, a warning will appear indicating that the sent information differs from the one used in the preview stage. This is to ensure that the uploaded tag is correct to run.

From the View of the added tag the status of preview will appear along with the “Automatic insertion” information:
