Space Settings for Video (VAST)

From the Spaces Settings / Upload tab you can indicate whether it is a Web or Video type space:

- If it is a Web type space it will accept all previous settings options (See Spaces creation)

- If it is a Video type space, the following attributes will apply:

. Player size:

The exact size of the video player must be defined. The recommended size for video player is 640 x 480

. Minimum / Maximum ad duration (in seconds):

A value between 1 and 255 seconds must be set. Be advised that the maximum time cannot be lower or equal to the minimum time.

. Video ad type:

The types of ad available are Pre-roll/Mid-roll/Post-roll/Overlay

More information:

- Pre-roll
The ad is presented before the content video, inside the player. View example

- Mid-roll
The ad is presented during the player’s content video. View example

- Post-roll
The ad is presented after the player’s content video. View example

- Overlay
The ad is served at the same time of the content video, so that users visualize it (over the video) while they watch the content movie. View example

The rest of settings are the same as those available in the “Web” type space form.

CAUTION!

. Video spaces to be configured:

In some cases, spaces detected as being distinctively video were automatically adjusted to convert them to this “type¨. As this adjustment was only performed in some spaces, it is necessary and recommended the revision and post edition of such spaces that must be set as video and have not been adjusted yet.

. Type of ad:

In cases where video inventory is managed regardless of the type of ad (pre-mid-post) it is recommended to do it so as to be able to sell correctly in Exchange. Otherwise, if the space is not adjusted, it must be anyway categorized with any option available. The user must select the most appropriate option, which will eventually be its type in the bid.
