Targeting by web page domain
Targeting by web page domain
The Targeting options are not mandatory. By default they will be disabled.
'Targeting by web page domain' appears under 'Targeting' in the Campaign form:
This type of targeting enables to indicate a list of allowed or not allowed domains in the campaing. This means that the segmentation can either be positive or negative.
It applies under the 'domain' level ,not by URL´s or subdomains. Therefore specific URL´s must not be included, such as: http://www.e-planning.net/gallery. The general domain must be indicated: www.e-planning.net
Once the targeting is activated, the campaign will be shown under every related URL (the ones that belong to the general domain).
E.g: If we select 'Show in this domains': www.e-planning.net
The following URL´s will also match with the indicated targeting:
www.e-planning.net/gallery
www.e-planning.net/es/productos/adserver/sites.html
This option is useful for networks and sites that run generic tags (without specifying zones/subzones), but they want to locate in a more precise way the pages where the campaign must or must not be shown. |
