Resizing Ads
When adding a standard image or Flash ad (not a Rich Media one), you can specify the size the ad should acquire.
For example: If you would like to upload a 240x198 ad to a 300x250 space, you can set the system to implement the resizing automatically.
This option is available for the following formats:
BANNER_GIF
BANNER_FLASH
BANNER_JPEG
BANNER_PNG
The specified size is saved and, at the moment of generating the IMG or FLASH tag, the indicated dimensions are used instead of the real ones.
The real size will only be saved for information purposes, in order to show it in the ad’s view screen, next to the chosen size. For example:
If the space where you would like to run the ad is FIXED, and if you have specified a size for resizing, the system will validate this against that size instead of comparing it towards the real size of the banner. That is, you will be allowed to upload a 240x198 ad (or a 1000x1000 ad) to a fixed 300x250 space, provided you have clicked the checkbox and specified that you wish to change the size of the ad for 300x250.
