E-PLANNING FORMATS
Upon having analyzed the trends of mobile traffic and also considered the recent automatic blocking of flash contents for Chrome users, an evolution of the whole digital industry may be clearly observed towards the adoption of HTML5-created ads.
e-planning has launched new options to answer to the most innovative ad formats and production tools of ads currently in force in the market.
Brief summary:
1. Standard ads programmed in HTML5
If the agency, advertiser or media generate their own ads programmed in HTML5, you may easily import .html or .zip files to the system. e-planning is compatible with the most used tools for the generation of HTML5 ads, such as: Adobe Edge , Google Web Designer, Adobe Animate. On the other hand, custom code may be imported in HTML5.
Standard HTML5 ads admit the creation of ads with diverse formats and effects (expandible, layers, insterstitial, etc.). These ads have a weight limitation of 120kb and support standard impression and click metrics.
2. HTML5 programmed Rich media ads
As in the previous case, e-planning is compatible with mostly used tools for the generation of HTML5 ads, such as: Adobe Edge, Google Web Designer Adobe Animate,. On the other hand, HTML5 custom code may be imported.
Rich media HTML5 ads admit the creation of more complex ads with diversity of formats and effects, including video (expandible, takeover, skins, rising, stars, multiple impact, etc.). These ads have a weight limitation of 30MB
(depending on the contract) and support standard metrics (impression and click), interaction metrics (time, ad starting, close, expand, download, social buttons, among others) and visibility metric (viewability).
All Rich Media formats can be entirely programmed in HTML5. e-planning specs muts be followed to then send the material to our specialized Support Team or to upload the final material diretly to the interface.
3. Ad Studio ads
Ad Studio enables to create standard or rich media HTML5 ads with the advantage of not requiring programming technical knowledge. Through simple steps and Drag&Drop tools, you may create any type of piece and effects, include videos, galleries and a great diversity of components.
These ads DO NOT have a weight limitation and they support standard metrics (impression and click), interaction metrics (time, ad starting, close, expand, download, social buttons, among others) and visibility metric (viewability).
4. Standard Flash ads
If you still receive or generate traditional flash ads, they are automatically converted to HTML5. In order to get a better aesthetics of the final piece, flash ads should use fonts converted to curves.
Converted ads should be approved by the trafficker in the ad server platform before starting to run in the site.
5. Flash Rich Media ads
There´s no convertion to HTML5 for Flash RM ads. The ad must be entirely programmed in HTML5 (Check point 2. in this article).
