VAST Ads Format Types

VAST Ads Format Types

In the interface, it is possible to create ads to serve advertisements in a video player that supports VAST.

These ads have a rich media format that does not require any type of programming. On the contrary, they are directly uploaded to a rich media campaign.

The available type of formats are as follows:

Linear Ads
From the ad server, select the linear format + the video format, and also indicate whether it has a format companion or not.

Video Player - linear FLV
Video Player - linear FLV with SWF companion

Video Player - linear MP4
Video Player - linear MP4 with GIF companion
Video Player - linear MP4 with JPG companion

Video Player - linear SWF
Video Player - linear SWF with SWF companion

Once on the player’s platform, you will be able to configure whether the format will be:

- Pre-roll
The ad is presented before the content video, inside the player. View example

- Mid-roll
The ad is presented during the player’s content video. View example

- Post-roll
The ad is presented after the player’s content video. View example

Non-linear Ads
From the ad server, select the non-linear format + the format of the creative. Also indicate whether it has a companion or not.

Video Player - non-linear GIF
Video Player - non-linear JPEG
Video Player - non-linear PNG
Video Player - non-linear SWF
Video Player - non-linear SWF with SWF companion

In the player’s platform, configure whether an overlay or a companion banner will be displayed.
