Users' Access Restriction by Site

The “Users’ Access Restriction by Site” functionality allows you to create a type of user that will be the administrator of one site or group of selected sites.

This user will have administrator access grants, but with some restrictions regarding certain platform sites.

In order to create a user with restrictions per site,  follow the following steps:

1. Create an administrator user, that is, a user that belongs to the platform:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. Enable the option Restrict access by site.

3. Indicate the sites for which the user will have administrator access grants.

This restriction only applies to campaign management. As for statistics reports, the administrator user will view the information of all  sites and their campaigns.

You can also find this option available for the already created users.

Access the existing user and click on “Edit”

A user with restrictions for specific sites has the following features:

• They can create campaigns, but only view and associate them to the site  they belong to.
• If they have been granted access to a specific site, they  will not be able to manage other sites. However,  they will be able to manage spaces associated to their site.
• They will be able to manage groups of spaces and campaigns, provided these belong to their site.
• They will be able to create campaigns only in the sites for which they have access grants. They will be able to edit campaigns created by other users, only if these are associated to their site.
• When associating an existing ad to a campaign, the only ads that will be listed will be those that are running solely in campaigns “manageable” by  restricted users. If the ad is associated to at least  one campaign which is not manageable by restricted users,  it will not be visualized in the list.
• They will only be able to edit those ads that are associated to campaigns linked to sites manageable by themselves. If the ad is associated to at least one campaign which is not manageable by them, the edition of the ad will not be allowed. However, the  suspension or disassociation of the ad from the campaign will be permitted.
• When creating a campaign, they can only choose sites from the list of restricted sites in the Add Campaign Form.

By choosing which permissions to grant, the following actions can be limited or enabled:

• Campaign priority management . For instance,  users can only manage campaigns with a priority of 4 or lower.

•  Deletion of campaigns or spaces.

•  User management.
