Geographic targeting

Geographic targeting

Geographic targeting allows you to positively or negatively define in which countries, regions, cities or DMAs the campaign should be displayed.

To use it, select the Geographic option in the Add segmentation menu.

You can select four different options for targeting:

  1. Disabled: the campaign will be shown indistinctly in any country.

  2. Show in these countries: the campaign will be shown exclusively in the selected countries.

  3. Don't show in these countries: the campaign will be shown in any country except the selected ones.

  4. Display the campaign when the country is unknown: the campaign will be displayed only when the user's country cannot be determined.

If you select the option Show in these countries, it is possible to choose between different region or city options:

  1. Disabled: the campaign will be shown in any region or city in the selected countries.

  2. Show in these cities: the campaign will be shown exclusively in the selected cities

  3. Don't show in these cities: the campaign will be shown in any city except the selected ones

  4. Show in these regions: the campaign will be shown exclusively in the selected regions

  5. Don't show in these regions: the campaign will be shown in any region except the selected regions

If the selected country is exclusively the United States, new options will be enabled:

  1. Show in these DMA codes: the campaign will be displayed exclusively in the selected DMA codes.

  2. Do not show on these DMA codes: the campaign will be shown on any DMA code except the selected ones

  3. Show on these CBSA codes: the campaign will be displayed exclusively on the selected CBSA codes

  4. Do not display on these CBSA codes: the campaign will be displayed on any CBSA code except the selected ones.
