Demographics targeting

Demographic targeting allows you to positively or negatively define which demographic, behavioral or intent segments a user should belong to in order to view the campaign.

Note that this information is provided by third-party vendors based on their data and may not be available to all users. It is likely that as you add more options in this segmentation, the inventory available to display the campaign will be drastically reduced.

To use this targeting select the Demographic option from the Add targeting menu.

You can select three different options for segmentation:

  1. Disabled: the campaign will be displayed regardless of the segments to which the user belongs.

  2. At least one: the campaign will be shown in case the user belongs to any selected segment.

  3. Do not show the campaign in these countries: the campaign will be shown in case the user belongs to all the selected segments.

Next, you can select a data provider and the segments of interest for the campaign, such as age, education, gender, etc.

Then, within each segment it is possible to define whether the segmentation should apply to all segment values (clusters), at least one or none.
