Takeover

Takeover

It consists of a full-screen layer that takes over  all site contents to display the ad. Upon closing up the ad, it leaves a residual banner that allows to expand the ad again.

It generates a great visual impact with features, such as video, social components and more.

Upload in the interface:

Start from a Rich Media campaign > Add Ad Studio ad > Create Ad Studio ad: Enter Studio

On the first Studio screen select the format and its settings:

The banner must be a fixed size one.

The layer may be of fixed or responsive size.

IMPORTANT!

In case a HTML5 file is loaded in Ad Studio, it should be also responsive to work accordingly.

If not set as responsive, even if this fact is indicated in the platform, the ad will not adapt as expected.

Likewise, the option 'Design in both directions' may be selected, enabling to upload an image designed for devices in vertical position (portrait) and another image designed for devices in horizontal position (landscape).  See Double Orientation Design

Once the banner's size and orientation are selected press 'Create' to start creating the creativity.

In this case, the banner must be designed for one side and the layer for the other. Both parts may contain several pages, and the layer may be designed in both mentioned orientations.

The necessary components must be incorporated: See Components

It is recommended to always include a close button in the layer for users to close the ad when they wish. Likewise, from Ad Adjustments the ad behavior may be set up to indicate which ad displays first, the banner or layer, and a 'view time'  which makes the layer to close automatically when the time elapses.

How it counts:

•    Ad start: When the ad is loaded.
•    Expand: When the ad expands with the button 'Change creativity'
•    Collapse: When the ad collapses with the button 'Change creativity'
•    Close ad: When the ad is closed by using the button 'Close ad'
•    Clicks: When it is clicked by using the button 'Clicktag'.
•    Complete ad: When the layer closes automatically when the 'view time' elapses.

If it has a video:

•    Play video: When “Play” is pressed for the first time
•    Stop video:  When “Stop” is pressed for the first time
•    Ad stay: it activates per quarters of the video time
•    Complete ad: When the video ends.
