Expandable Push

The format is composed by an expandable ad which pushes the site contents.

It is shown in 3 instances:
In the first instance, the ad appears expanded and displacing the site contents, it closes automatically upon the animation completion or by the close button.
In the second instance, the ad is visualized as collapsed with a button to open it. When the site content is collapsed, it goes back to its original place.
In the last instance, the ad is visualized as collapsed but it does not close until the user clicks on the close button,.
If the user enters the site again, he will visualize the ad as collapsed.
Implementation:
This format should be associated to the 'variable' type space where the piece is to be located.
It is not necessary to create a particular space for this format. A variable space may be re-used where traditional ads usually run, and other Rich formats are displayed alternatively.
The recommended code type is multiple or space Ajax V4. However, it may be also implemented by using javascript V3.
Metrics:
• Impression: To be counted when the ad is visualized as collapsed in the first instance.
• Stay Time: It starts at the same time of the impression, and it counts whilst the first animation is being
visualized. If the user decides to expand the ad again, the stay time will still be counted.
• Complete Ad: It is counted upon the animation completion when the piece automatically collapses.
• Close Ad: It is counted every time the user closes the ad before the first instance animation is completed.
• Expand a Banner area: It is recorded every time the piece is expanded by the user in the second instance.
• Collapse a Banner area: It is recorded every time the piece is collapsed by the user.
Ad attributes:
• Size of the collapsed ad: The collapsed ad size may be indicated to be visualized correctly. As the ad always shows the size of the expanded banner, the lower part always remains as transparent when the banner is collapsed.
• Expansion direction: Downwards/ To the right: The expansion direction may be selected from the interface.
• Expansion speed: from 0 to 9. The expansion speed may be selected from the interface
• DIV tag identifier: epl_expandable_div This div is created automatically, it is not necessary the webmaster implements it in the site.
• Start with expanded ad: Never / Always / Once per hour / Once per day: You may choose the ad to start as expanded or collapsed from the interface.
• External counting URL: In this field, external impression counting urls may be added, if sent by the advertiser/agency/network. Up to 3 urls may be added.
• Flash background color: Use the movie one/ Transparent / RGB Code: The color of the flash background may be chosen from the interface.
• Additional variables to be sent to the ad: Flashvars may be added in this field.
• Ad delay: This option should be used only in specific cases in which the piece is not correctly visualized in Internet Explorer.
• Ad position: Left / Right / Centered / None. The ad position within the space may be selected by one of these options.
• Custom Actions: Those metrics you wish to be counted may be added. For more information, go to Custom Actions document.
