Layers Fusion
Description:
This format works for those centered sites, when there are blank spaces in the sides of the screen if the user has a 1024 or higher resolution.
It starts with 2 layers shown at the sides of the screen. They follow the user if he scrolls throughout the site.
Example:
If the user is over any of them, they make a scroll towards the middle of the screen, and merge in a central piece which doubles their width.
The central piece may be closed and the sides may also and optionally have close buttons (they close the three pieces altogether).
Implementation:
This format should be associated to the 'variable' type space where the left side will be located. The right side and the central layer are placed automatically.
The recommended type code is multiple or space Ajax V4. However, it may be also implemented by using javascript V3.
Metrics:
• Impression: It counts when both side layers are visualized, in the first frame.
• Central ad start-up: If the user goes on the sides, the animation takes place in the central layer.
• Stay Time: It starts counting when the layer is shown.
• Complete Ad: To count upon the central layer animation completion.
• Close Ad: It counts if any layer is closed before its animation completion.
Ad attributes:
Delay to show the ad. The number of seconds to elapse for the ad to appear should be set.
Incoming speed: The speed used by the layers to be displayed may be selected from 1 to 10.
Z index: It allows to add depth to the ad. If any element on the site remains over the piece, the z-index should be increased for the piece to remain upwards.
External counting URL: In this field, external impression counting urls may be added, if sent by the advertiser/agency/network. Up to 3 urls may be added.
Flash background color: Use the movie one/ Transparent / RGB Code: The flash background color may be chosen from the interface. Flashvars may be added in this field.
Ad delay: This option should be used only in specific cases in which the piece is not correctly visualized in Internet Explorer.
Custom Actions: Custom metrics may be added to measure specific events. More information here.
